Introducing Viola and this season's new hat

Viola has kindly agreed to model for us today.
This is Viola before the makeup artist and hairstylist gets a hold of her.
See models are just like the rest of us.
For those who were wondering how Viola got her name.

Now if that is all the personal questions you have for Viola, let's get on with the fashion show.

Remember last winter's hat?
It's quite warm and perfect for any blizzards that may come my way.

Now let me introduce you to this winter's new head wear Fashion.
A crocheted Cloche with lovely heirloom pin.
(..mm excuse me ma'am we are in the middle of a fashion show... yes that is your grandmother's pin, doesn't it look great. ... what? really? but, but ... fine, I'll get my own.)

Sorry for the delay, we had a "technical" difficulty

Introducing a crocheted Cloche with a lovely crocheted Star Flower Pin

Now the question I have for you is?
Should I go with the black button?
or the sparkly jeweled button?

Personally, I liked the heirloom pin the best! I totally like the hat.... so cool! But i guess, if the heirloom pin is out.... i would go with the sparkly jeweled button....at the same time, the black is good, if you want it to blend in better. There you go. An opinion from someone that doesn't wear hats. Honesty, because i'm not trying to butter you up to get one. :)

Nicely done, my sister!
Love ya!

CUTE!! I love the new hat. I personally like the black button myself...

You've been busy - how long do these take you to make? Is it hard to learn?? Probably for me, but just curious...

The green hat I started and finished on Sunday. I shouldn't have pushed it that hard for one day, got a bum arm because of it. It's definitely doable in two. The purple one probably took me a week, not longer then two. Both hats were crocheted, which I think is pretty easy to learn, the green hat has less details so I would recommend it for a beginner. What I like about crocheting (over knitting) is mistakes are easily corrected.
