Another Pie in July

An apple pie made using Granny Smith apples.

(This is how much a craftier I am, when I was trying to remember what type of apples I used, I kept coming up with "Granny Square")

What makes this one different from most other apple pies is the Cranberry, Walnut, Date mixture on the bottom of the pie. So GOOD!!!!! And yes, just in case you were wondering this is also very good with homemade vanilla ice cream.

All I've got is one Question:

Does Pie qualify as a good mid-morning snack?

I mean it is already on a plate.......................
